       Comparison of the Story Frankenstein with the Modern World

    With scientific and / or technological advancement, there are often drawbacks. For example, although the Internet provides means of speedy communication, it is dangerous for children to use without parental supervision. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of one or more recent advances in either science or technology.

       Today, we live in a time where people are thirsty for freedom and the more is given to them the more they take advantage of it and abuse it. What kind of “freedom” does the contemporary man know about? People have lost the sense of livelihood and as a result, they do whatever they want. What is even worse, they reject God and His existence and some are trying to be above Him. What an absurdity! What a foolish human being they have become! Many times I think and I cannot understand why they strive for more and more? This is like when someone is trying to crash the wall with his head and he is even firm in his intention. I feel sorry for those souls. That's the only comment that I can make. I know that God takes care of all of us and on certain cases He allows things to happen. One of the great gifts the He had given to us is our free will, which means we are not forced to believe in God, but we know who is He and where our souls go after we leave this temporary earthly life. We have free will to choose if we are going to be WITH GOD or AGAINST GOD.

The “Frankenstein” story contains a deep message to those who want to step over the border. At one point I felt sorry for Victor, but he made the mistake, didn't even try to fix it and eventually had to pay the price. People want to prolong the life and make something new. The secret of the life is already discovered, i.e. we know enough about human life and there is no need of going further. However, this story could be related to various things that are happening today. Scientists are trying to go beyond natural things and create a living human. Specifically I am talking about artificial insemination and a manner of things related to this. According to the law of the nature in order to create a baby, you need the participation of two people: a man and a woman. We all know that. Now, in order to please people and to make money, the scientists came up with such thing that the take the seed, freeze it and sell it. What I mean by this, people who want to purchase the seed, they literally could choose what gender, what eye color, hair, etc. Also they came up with stem sell where they take from the fetus of aborted babies and use for someone who is sick. I wonder how those scientists understand what life is and don't they think how much they damage on the humanity. On the contrary, they think what they do is excellent and its huge success for the human generation.When someone turns away from love, from the real meaning of life and anything in general, that person become cold and does not care for any morality. That freedom encouraged many to change their sex, just because they feel better to be in the opposite. Likewise, that freedom tells people that their body is theirs and they can do whatever they want with it. I have to admit something: I few times while I prayed, I said to God: “Thank you for still being merciful to us! We have forgotten on You and turned away from your help and grace, but You still send us the sun to give the light, and the rain to water the earth.”

May God enlighten us to come to ourselves, understand that we can't go behind the curtain and protect our future generation of inflicting God's wrath.
